December 3, 2010, New Era Dental Society held their bi-annual Holiday Scholarship Party. The event was held at the beautiful Gathering Place, Philadelphia, PA.
Eight scholarships were given to academically advance dental students from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry and The Kornberg School of Dentistry (formerly Temple University School of Dentistry). The awardees were all SNDA members.

On December 5, 2009, New Era Dental Society held their bi-annual Past President Scholarship Gala. The event was held at the Melrose Country Club, Philadelphia, PA.
Eight schloarships were given to academically advance dental students from the University of Pennslyvania School of Dentistry and The Kornberg School of Dentistry (formerly Temple University School of Dentistry). The awardees were all SNDA members.

NEDS members are committed to our future leaders and we feel proud of our accomplishments with scholarships! This year our chapter was presented with the 2010 Colgate Palmolive Bright Smiles Bright Future Scholarship Award. Every year we are able to give each student that applies and meets the criteria scholarships For books, boards, etc as well as mentor them throughout the year!
Also this year, our members donated scholarships to our local dental hygiene chapter, Tri-State Dental Hygienists’ Society. TriState presented their scholarships to four deserving hygiene students June 12, 2010 at their 15th Annual Savant Scholarship Luncheon.
Must be a matriculating dental student at an accredited dental school.
Must have 2.5 GPA.
Must be a current member of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) verified in the application (copy of card, letters from SNDA President, copy of cancelled check, or receipt from local chapter).

Letter of request for scholarship consideration including:
GPA
Community / Civic Service involvement
Proof of SNDA Membership
Your aspirations in the Dental industry.
